I wouldn't. I would dismantle the surrounding area and determine just what the big red button was connected to and how it functions, to discern whether or not pressing the button would yield inconvenient consequences.
And I'm completely serious about that. |

Ok, what about you are in a room, with no way out whatsoever, and there was a big red button, would you push it? There is no way of finding what it leads to/what it does unless you press it. How about now? :P
